Marketplace Manager – Amazon

This company, based in Runcorn, produces very highly regarded nutritional products. With revenue up 50% last year, they’re set to see a big rise again in 2024.

What does that mean for you if you join now? Plenty of opportunities internally. Chances to take on more responsibility. Making a name for yourself as a top performer. Being around other top performers – for 4 days per week, anyway – you’ll be at home for the other. Basically, never sitting still. The amount of people in the current team that have been promoted within 2 years is crazy. But despite a willingness to promote from within, sometimes some fresh blood’s needed.

We’re looking for a Marketplace Manager. Your big focus will be Amazon, where you’ll have all the support to make a big difference – your target will be to double turnover in your first year, and double it again in your second year. Sounds tough, right? Well, what if we told you that the Amazon revenue’s doubled in the past 3 months alone? Are you starting to see how much potential there is here?

We’ll need to see evidence that you’re data-driven and that you’ve either launched or grown the Amazon platform for your existing business. You’ll also optimise presence on other platforms like eBay, but Amazon’s the key here.

If you’re a big picture person, overseeing a team who drive tens of millions of pounds’ worth of sales, then this won’t be for you.

We’re looking for someone with a real eye for detail – whether that’s optimising an image or tweaking a title to constantly improve the brand’s visibility and get that extra little edge over your competitors. We’d like to see a couple of years’ experience in a similar role as a minimum – but not so much that you’ve stepped away from the day-to-day work on the key platforms.
