Technical Sales Manager – Healthy Foods Focus
This ingredients supplier, which has a presence across Europe and beyond, has a state of the art manufacturing site in the midlands where R&D professionals are constantly developing new innovative concepts to take to market. We’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager to take these offerings to manufacturers across the UK – and occasionally further afield, too.
Home-based, you’ll have a number of existing customers to work with, as well as targeting new accounts in the beverage, sports nutrition, savoury and bakery sectors. With strong marketing support and some of the most talented technical people in the food industry to assist you, you’ll have great resources to pull together – but you’ll need to be super-organised to stay on top of all of your ongoing projects.
With ambitious growth plans in place, this will suit someone who’s results-orientated and keen to make a long-term career step where you’ll be given additional responsibility and a pathway to grow your career over time.
The non-negotiable for this position is that you’ll need to display at least 3 years’ experience in selling added-value food ingredients on a B2B level in the UK, with some sales figures to impress. After that key experience, preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate experience of selling into beverage manufacturers – although, given the opportunities to further their presence in sports nutrition, bakery and savoury categories, if you can demonstrate success in opening doors in these sectors, that would be looked upon very favourably too.
