In a year where there’s plenty of challenges facing the food industry, it’s great to be working with a business that’s creating new positions, stemming from impressive growth. With ambitious targets for further double-digit growth over the next three years, this is an exciting time to join a company that’s on the up.
Our client is an international food ingredients supplier, known for its modern approach and innovative ingredient solutions. In this newly created role, we’re looking for a Senior Consumer Insights Analyst, to work as part of the European Marketing team. Working closely with the Category Marketers, alongside the Sales department, you’ll be the person who brings all of the facts and figures to the table when it comes what consumers want, and how the company’s customers can best capitalise on that.
Working closely with research agencies, you’ll give precise instruction on your requirements, which may include POS data, market scoping and consumer behaviour. By integrating that data, you’ll be able to form strategic insights for your customers, which will include some of the biggest names in the food and beverage world.
We’re looking for someone who can bring a minimum of 5 years Marketing Insight experience, having conducted both qualitative and quantitative research. You’ll be comfortable with data analytics and have strong Excel skills including the use of PivotTables. Experience of using both IRI and Nielsen would be beneficial. Although food ingredients experience is not essential, some experience in a B2B environment would be preferred. If you have not worked at a food ingredients supplier previously, evidence of your interest in the food industry and in the latest innovations within it will be required.
