Sick of the corporate circus? Maybe you feel like you could go it alone but don’t want the loneliness and all the non-recruitment stuff that comes with setting up shop yourself. Or perhaps the ways of working at your company just don’t fit with everything else you’ve got going on in your life anymore and you’ve realised that how they do things there will never change.

We’re a small but ambitious recruitment business, currently just the two of us, and we’re looking for a third and fourth musketeer to help us take things to the next level. No egos, no suits, no clock watching – just real, down-to-earth recruitment in very niche market sectors within the food industry. These are 360˚ recruiter roles – we’re not big on titles, but think Senior Recruiter level.

Who We Are:

  • Two experienced recruiters that are well established in our own markets, as well as having managed teams for many years – so we’re capable of recognising how you work best.
  • Big believers in working exclusively with clients where we’ll back ourselves to fill any position that we take on, which results in long-term partnerships and no wasting our time.
  • One of us focuses on the food ingredients market, one of us works with scaling brands in the food & drink industry – we’re looking to expand on both fronts.

Who You Are:

  • Grown-up, independent, and capable of managing your own time and workload.
  • A recruiter in the food industry or, if not food, then you’ll have had a white-collar focus with at least 3 years’ 360˚experience.
  • Track record of billing well into 6 figures (our commission scheme heavily rewards that level – if you’re not doing that, you’ll be financially better off going somewhere that’ll give you the platform to improve).
  • Living in a commutable distance to Horsforth, Leeds, at least 2 days/week.

  • We’re happy to laugh at ourselves and at each other – if you don’t have a sense of humour, think twice before applying (and how have you survived this long in recruitment, anyway?)
  • There’s parking on-site or if you don’t drive, we’re about 15 minutes’ walk from Horsforth train station.
  • We’re happy to show you our commission scheme once we’ve had a chat – we’re big fans of being open and if you wouldn’t be better off than you are now, we’ll address that up front (but it’d be very surprising).
  • You’ll get 26 days holiday, enhanced paternity/maternity leave, extra annual bonus incentives on top of your normal commission scheme and all the usual tools for the job. We might be small but there’s no skimping. Oh, and if you want any specific software or anything we’re not giving you already, just talk to us about it – if it makes sense commercially, we do it.

We’re giving a base salary guide of £35,000 – £45,000 but if you’re on a bit less or a bit more with the experience you’ve got, don’t let that put you off – as we just mentioned, if something makes sense commercially, we can make it happen.
